I would suggest being happy with the color you are now. But if you really want to change your color you can use cleansers with vitamin c and other citrus ingredients to lighten and brighten as naturally as possible. There are skin care lines that have CITRUS ACID AS THE MAIN BASE. The kits have cleansers, exfoliators, and moisturizers which can show gr8 results when used together.

don't do it. if it contains hyraquinone, it will be totally bad for your skin tone. you may end up patchy because it will not bleach evenly. it will also make you prone to damage, including white spots where the pigment is gone forever and new dark spots that your skin makes for protection. then you will have to use it for life and it is really hard on the liver.


I am sure your dark skin is beautiful, natural really is the best way to be. maybe make more of an effort to stay out of the sun and always use high SPF sunblocks... my client said that her skin became lighter after using sunblock all the time.

Reply:fred summit skin whitener is hydroquinone-based which can harm the skin especially after long term use.. there are safe and effective skin lighteners and it's what i use to remove unwanted tan. :-)

While there are skin lightening products in pharmacies, your friend should see a dermatologist. There may be a cream to help, or microdermabrasion, BUT none of this will be long lasting if she continues to pop the pimples which leads to terrible skin damage. A dermatologist can help not only with the discoloration but with the acne itself, so that perhaps there would be nothing else to pop and cause scarring after treatment.

Whats the best foundation for fair skin?

I have fair skin and I have a hard time finding a good foundation that doesn't leave lines or is orangy. Im not SUPER white, I just have fair skin. I usually just use powder and a little bronzer to give my face some color, but I would like to find a good foundation for my skin tone. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I Have the answer for you hun ... I also have fair skin. Not to light but fair enough. Well i have used and tried it all. I graduated from cosmetology school and this product is the best I've tried by far its not expensive and it works like a charm. Its Sally Hansen "Fast and Flawless" Airbrush Makeup For All Skins ... Use the color " Beach Beige" Now i was kind of like "Hmm a spray on foundation...." But girl let me tell you, its the best thing I've ever tried. Now the bottle tells you to spray it on your hand then apply, well what i think works best is first spray on face lightly allover or where ever you need. Then blend with either fingertip or with a makeup sponge. Then if you need to cover up say a zit or whatever then put a little on your finger and let dry fr a sec then blend. Then finish with a powder and nothing. Its that good. You wont have any streaks or Horrible orange marks. Its the best. Good luck and really do try it. You'll be happy you did. Renee

Certain parts of my skin on my face is very dry, why?

I went camping in a hotter climate than usual, while i was there and when i came back, my skin started to dry out on my forehead and around my mouth, and it keeps peeling, its been here for a week, and those parts are turning a lighter color than my normal skin tone? is it a disease?

no you were just in a climate where it was very dry to help this use a moisturizer there are so many of them i dont know which one to reccomend just go to the store, pick out one that looks good to you

A way to figure out if you have a warm or a cool skin tone is to look at the veins in your arm. If they look blue, chances are you are a cool; if they have more of a greenish tint, you're probably a warm.


Im guessing your cool skinned. A strong rich colour would work well. So yes auburn would be amazing i think...
